My opinion of Kessler wont change drastically (like everyones opinion of Lacy did) it will more than likely answer a few questions that have yet to be asked eg. fighting on the inside, chin, maybe a few more.

I rate Kessler highly, and think he is better than Calzaghe. If he loses, my opinion of him will change to a fighter not as good as Calzaghe. Quite simple really. :)

I know it's hard in Australia, but I am going to provide links to where you can watch some of the big fights online next time we talk on MSN.:good

Heh. I want to watch more, but my opinion of jC/MK is final, and i've seen a fair bit of both guys. I think I know what I'm doing on this one. Hopefully you wont be betting on this one mate. :good

My msn has been a bit wonky these days, I don't know whats up.
I probably have the torrent sites you're referring to. Ones tc and the other one's wb archive or something.

People are strange here, easy fight for Calzague. The weirdest thing is how many people that thinks Dawson is faster, how do you guys figure that out? Because of the Adamek fight?

People can make all the excuses about poor management that they want, but fact is that Joe still hasn't had a serious fight more than driving distance (about 150 miles) from his hometown. Plenty more fights can be made if you're willing to leave your hometown, and while Joe and Frank always talk big, they've never put up when it's time to head anywhere else. And please don't tell me that Mario Veit (who he already destroyed), Will McIntyre (bum with a padded record) and Kabery Salem (who had already been dominated by journeymen) were serious opponents. Making this fight still doesn't change that. To earn my full respect, he WILL need to go to an opponent's home turf at some point, or at least to a neutral location. Hopefully if he wins the money will be right to go to Vegas and fight the Hopkins/Wright winner.

Kessler is a better offensive boxer than Calzaghe, he was edging Joe out in the first half of their fight. He is also less smart when it comes to picking fights, he doesn't know when to pull out of fights when hes injured, hes too brave/confident for his won good, and also I think has stamina issues. Joe is probably a better package overall.

Anyways theres a good reason Joe ran from Dawsons challenge into retirement (not to mention continuing to run from Froch too).

Amsterdam, Brickhause, Axe, kg0208...what a blast from the past.

Also, haven't thought about the hypothetical Dawson vs. Calzaghe match-up in quite some time. Back when this was made I think people still expected a long p4p tenure from Dawson, and it didn't seem inconceivable he would drop back down to 168 successfully and maybe pick up a belt. (it had only been a short time since he moved up to LHW)
