d-man would have been outboxed for the first 6 rds. :bbb then turned it up bit by bit and crushed him in about 10 rds. :yep
i remember first watching d-man against mark prince in 1998. first few rds it was looking good for prince. then d-man upped it and tore him apart. he was a brutal operator in his prime. :good
DM by brutal KO. Like was said - first few rounds for Dawson. Constant pressure from DM and huge workrate would slow down slick Chad and BAM, left hook to the jaw a classic counterpunch to soutpah jab and Dawson sleeps like a baby
Perhaps in a couple of years, I will re ask this question. Dawson is young and getting better. DM at this point looks to be the better fighter.
Yeah, if Chad wins against some good opposision then who knows. He really have the skills plus soutphaw stance. But I'm afraid one thing - there won't be a player in this division comparable to DM to test his skills
True. But perhaps....you never know. Big fight if Kessler beats Calzaghe, then decides he wants the LHW title (though he may go after Hopkins).
Chad should be the draw at LHW, not B-Hop. Hopkins makes fights ugly Chad on the other hand comes to fight and whoops that ass beatifuly. I'm courious if Chad is still able to make supermiddle.. P.S. RJJ-Bad Chad would be a nice scrap, two great slick figters with skill. Chad is like a bit less athletic Roy :smoke
DM was an elite operator as the top of 175 for an extended period of time we saw his whole career we have not seen the whole of Dawsons and we do not know how good he will get I think Dawson would actually be winning but i do think DM would get to him from what ive seen the guy was an animal in his prime...only seen 4 or 5 fights mind i became a true boxing fan circa 2003
