Who wins? I think Dawson is a terrible style matchup for Bivol. Lightning-quick fighters are Kryptonite for robotic fighters like Bivol.
Dawson would be problematic for him, I agree, with a 4.5" reach advantage. But I think Kovalev and Beterbiev would have knocked Dawson out even at his best.
Dawson is one of those guys who had the talent but couldn't always put it together. At his best he'd definitely give Bivol problems
Interesting. Dawson's fatal flaw was his chin, but Bivol might not crack quite hard enough to explot it. Leaving this as a pure boxing match-up...would be competitive.
Is everyone forgetting the fact that Dawson got outboxed by Jean Pascal and KO’d by Andre Ward? Bivol would have outboxed Dawson and possibly stop him.
Ye ok lol.. The guy barely got past an old Glen Johnson.. was destroyed by Fonfara, lost to C level Karpency, got whooped by Ward , Pascal & Stevenson.. He beat 40 year old Tarver who had recently been destroyed by Hopkins .. he was a decent fighter but overall overrated as fk .. Adamek was a good win but he was finished at LHW & coming off some brutal wars
