    chad fought 30somethings because he had to.


    calzaghe ran from real contenders to fight 40somethings, ran into another division entirely, to escape being destroyed.

    Not 30 somethings 40 plus. He didn't have to fight them ,and certainly didn't have to give them rematches. Chad was such a fighting champion just so as long the challenger was over the age of 40.

    calzaghe deliberately avoided primes and subsequent defeats and dumped titles to fight 40somethings.

    dawson just happened to fight 30somethings as well as others, they were his legit opponents for defences for his title.

    How could chad win?

    He ain't stopping joe and his workrate could be pretty ****poor. Joe would swarm him...maybe even hurt him.

    This is probably what would unfold.

    I am from CT and was a huge supporter of Chad's. Saw his pro debut, watched him train a few times when he was just starting out. The Bad Chad that beat Adamek could hang with Calzaghe but the one later on couldn't deal with Joe at that elite mental level.

    Sad how his elite talent was not supported by high levels of desire and intelligence regarding the makeup of his team.

    I think Dawson could have been an ATG if he stayed with Floyd Sr, and were tougher mentally.

    The Adamek fight was a beautiful performance by him.

    You don't pick things up to quickly do ya dan.

    He was lacyied. Which means zaggers destroyed his career in one fight, everything that happened to lacy after that fight is a mere follow on to the beating joe handed to him..

    yup chad would've tore calzaghes head off if joe hadn't been so cowardzaghe and ran in gibbering fear from him.

    calzaghe always did the right thing by running in gibbering fear from such elites (apart from once when Kessler got injured)
