Why is Joe talking about fighting old ass Hopkins who is a Middleweight posing as a Light Heavy?? He needs to fight Bad Chad Dawson. Everyone knows he's the man at Light Heavy. Bad Chad beats Calzaghe easily.. Calzaghe holds no advantages over him in any area. He relys on his hand speed and footwork but he wont have that advantage over Chad Dawson.. That being said.. Calzaghe wont even mention the words Chad Dawson I guarentee it.. He's content in fighting old man Hopkins.

Chad will be a great fighter, and atm is still very very good and the best at 175, but Calzaghe will beat him and probably stop him. Chad wont be able to deal with Calzaghe's pressure.

Before today, I'd have taken Chad. But now doubt he'd have it in him to win. He'd have a much better chance against Kessler though, but that would still be a hard fight to pick.

Lets hope Calzaghe goes up to 175 and fights him, but if he doesn't, it shouldn't tarnish his legacy one bit as Chad is still a fighter developing in skill and name.

LOL are you crazy? Chads hands are too fast for Calzaghe to try that bum rush pressure he does.. He'd eat uppercuts.. Chad would stop Calzaghe IMO. He's faster, stronger, better defensively and he's a southpaw like Calzaghe so Calzaghe would hold NO advantages over him.

No Hopkins name won't look more impressive.. Cmon let's be honest.. Real boxing fans would be way more impressed if Calzaghe beat Dawson rather then Hopkins.. Hopkins is gonna be what? 43 years old? and he's not even a natural lighty heavy.. he's a damn middleweight.

Joe would rise to what ever level he had to to beat Dawson.

don't underestimate Joe like I have previously. :nono

Chad still lacks a few fundamentals, but does indeed have the tools to win. But mentally, Joe is streets ahead of him, and this is another area where Joe would exploit Chad.

Less money in a Dawson fight. Hopkins is where the money is and JC will go for the big money fights.

Calzaghe probably doesnt even know who Dawson is thats why ?!

What the hell has Dawson done to warrant a fight with a legend like Calzaghe. He hasnt proven himself at all, he has ONE decent win and that was over Adamek and wasnt he down in that fight himself ?

Dawson is just another over-rated American hype-job untill he proves OTHERWISE.

Hopkins and Woods are ahead of him at light-heavy untill Dawson proves otherwise.

Oh and another thing, Calzaghe would dominate Dawson. Chad aint even been in the ring with someone of Kesslers quality let alone Joe's. Joe would outbox him from distance, outbox him on the inside. It wouldnt even be close.

Chad the man at LHW???? Come on, who has Dawson faced? A 60% Adamek and a 60% Harding, how can be he the man instead of Hopkins at LHW?

Dawson is a skilled guy, but he has not proved much so far to be the best, my ratings at LHW is:

    1. B-Hop
    2. Woods
    3. Erdei
    4. Dawson
    5. Tarver
    6. Johnson
    7. Drews

Dawson must beat Diaconu to consider him as a legitimate opponent. Calzaghe should go against B-Hop.

Ive seen chad dawson fight twice. he was put down by adamek who isnt even a world class fighter.

other than that he's beaten NO ONE.

He's NOT EVEN THE TOP MAN IN HIS DIVISION.

Dawson would NEVER outbox Calzaghe.. Obviously you've never seen a Joe Calzaghe fight..You're a complete moron to even say that.

OH please give me a break.. WHen Chad faced Adamek everyone was saying Adamek is the best light heavy out there and Dawson dominated him.. Now he was a 60 % Adamek? And who the **** is Diaconu? He's a nobody so how do you figure Dawson gotta beat him to be considered a legitimate opponent??? You must be smoking some good ****

You're an idiot. Adamek was rated as if not the best light heavy one of the best so how can you say he's not even a world class fighter? That statement alone proves you don't know **** about boxing you douchebag

How old or you? Judging from how you post you must be pretty young. Chad Dawson is by no means overrated. A fight between him and Calzaghe is a best a pick-em fight. You do know that he is only 25 and is still developing as fighter:patsch

By who ? Who said he was the best lhw out there ? I never heard that.

Adamek was not p4p ranked , was NOt the best lhw.

So by your logic einstein, ONE win makes him better than Calzaghe who is most people's #3 p4p ?

    Good thinking there slick!

    clueless shite.

    Hush.

    Chad Dawson is SEVERLY OVERATED.

    He hasnt beaten ANYONE.

And yet people put him in their p4p lists ?

He doesnt even belong in the same sentence as Joe Calzaghe or Bernard Hopkins.
