No personal offense in any way but -

80 % who post here are haters or boxing Gods who predicts "KO in 3 round at 1,24 min". Or knows that prime this would have schooled prime that.
But in the real world we cant even predict the fight to come, like Pac-ODLH, Taylor-Froch or Pac-Hatton.

Thats why a lot of us read more than we write. This poll doesn't mean anything to me. Just that the interest in the fight is there, which should get fans to route for the fight - and then we will see the outcome- in the ring :bbb

    All I know is .

Kessler only delve in world class level he was found severly lacking, I also wa ssuprised that an apparant world class fighter would get hurt from a body shot from Calzaghe..amazing.

Dawson is one of the best body punchers around...I dont think Mikkel would last 6-7 rounds with Dawson who is naturally bigger, mixed and more importantly consistantly WON at the Higher level.

but this match will never happen dont expect Kessler to mix with any of the big boys.

he without doubt the most over rated BASIC fighter this forum has taken to.

There are fighters who desevre attention and there are fighters who dont deserve any press. Kessler is the latter.

the thing is Naseem Hamed lost by 115-112 to Barrera..it was far closer but he wqas deemed exposed!!

Kessler lost to an excelelnt fighter not on Barrera level and got dominated.

Kessler is like Froch. They want to fight the best. Both went abroad in there first defense, and they will suddenly do it again. Only some US-fans trashtalk of EU-fighters could prevent this for happening :-(

Calzaghe would push Dawson to fight at a pace he has never been close to before. This will result in Dawson breathing heavily no later than rounds 4 or 5. Calzaghe will easily win the remaining rounds. Dawson may share the first four. All in all Joe wins at least 10-2 or 9-3. The pace is what killed Kessler and Dawson does NOT have better stamina than Kessler and will therefore tire earlier.

The Dawson that fought Adamek is probably too good for Kessler...

The fact that a vast majority thinks Kessler wins, but don't bother defending him in writing, tells us that they just think Kessler is better but are not emotionally attached enough to defend him. In other words they use their heads.

The few people voting for Dawson are almost all in here arguing that Dawson is the best and will win. They seem personally attached to Dawson and it should be pretty obvious that they use their hearts more than their heads here.

    Kessler 102
    Dawson 41

Nonsense. Calzaghe wouldnt be able to wing shots like he usually does against 40 year olds and C level opponents, because very time he goes into his 1 million slap routine Dawson will be countering with speed and power. Unlike the fighters Calzaghe has fought, Chad Dawson can fight going backwards, fowards and sideways. Calzaghe has never fought an opponent with the strength, size and speed of Chad Dawson. If CAlzaghe were to win it would be the toughest fight of his career.

That is actually quite an astute analysis of the situation. Kessler doesn't have a huge fanbase to defend him nor does have a great amount of haters either to criticize the guy. For the most part people are neutral observers but recognize his talent and respect his technical brilliance thus realize that it will take someone very special to thoroughly defeat him. Unfortunately that someone is not Dawson, not by a long shot.

Each and every one of you that voted for Kessler here should be ashamed of yourselves...or better yet...quarantined and nuked into dust.
