    Well, I didn't get to vote. :hat

    But Dawson beats Kessler from pillar to post in a lopsided 12 round UD at any weight, providing he is not weight drained.

    At 168 however, I can see Dawson coming in drained. He was 191 for his rematch with Johnson, so that is a lot of weight to cut for a guy with extremely low bodyfat already.

    Perhaps the drain Dawson would suffer to make 168 is why some are voting for Kessler, because otherwise Dawson is in a different league.

    I have no qualms about coming public about it since my opinion hasn't changed over the last 6 months; I think at 168, Kessler knocks him out late in what would be a close fight up to that point. :thumbsup

    What about one guy struggling against a completely drained Adamek and 2 very old and shot boxers? And the same guy who isn't able to hurt anybody is supposed to murder Kessler? Dawson has 2 ko's in his last 8 fights. He's gonna ko anyone at the top.

    That being said, I don't know what that fight would give us. Dawson and Kessler are two excellent fighters. I don't think that any of the two would kick the other's ass.

    Dawson won atleast 10 rounds against Adamek and won 27 rounds in 3 fights vs Tarver and Johnson. The only fight he struggled with was the first Johnson fight. And he was probably still a little green. He's 27 and only getting better.


    He hurt Adamek atleast twice during their fight. Once with a body shot. The same one slappy joe hit KEssler with. Tarver and Johnson are two ironed chinned cats, with Johnson only being KO'd once decade ago against Hopkins. Both are miles ahead of anyone kessler have fought. And Id only slightly favor Kessler against both now.

    The Johnson rematch put to sleep IMO the ruors of Dawson making 168.

    1) Adamek was drained. You seem to forget that fact.
    2) Johnson and Tarver are shot and old. Whatever you say of them from the past is not relevant.
    3) Dawson has 17 ko's in 29 fights. There were not all against ironned chin. Dawson has good power, nothing more.

    AGain, excuses.A "Drained" adamek is still miles ahead of any fighter KEssler has beaten and a "drained" adamek would still hand Kessler his ass on a plater. There was nothing in that fight that led me to believe Dawson would lose to a cruiser ADamek. But of course you've never seen the fight since you seem to think Dawson struggled. :rofl
    Neither was shot. Tarver was coming off a dominating win over Clinton Woods. Johnson was coming off 3 straight KO's. While they are both past it, they were still better scalps then anything on KEsslers resume.

    And why do you keep bringing up Dawsons power? His strength is in his speed, athleticism and versatility. He fights with his strong hand forward, which makes him a better boxer, but gives up some power. So what. Winnings winning. HE hurt Adamek with a body shot. But of course you have seen that fight.


    Again means little to someone like kessler who was hurt by a smaller fighter in Calzaghe with hand problems.
