Yeah, I think it was probably the teeth who won him the European championship at only 16. It wa probably the teeth who allowed him to become unified WBC and WBA champion with only 1 round lost on the judges card through-out his carreer.

Dawson stops him, obviously he'd win but....i think his power is underrated seeing as his biggest fights were against guys that have never been stopped (Johnson, Tarver, Adamek)

if Joe can hurt Kessler to the body, Dawson will stop him.....though this kind of logic doesn't work in most cases, i believe it will apply here

but aside from the stoppage, Dawson's a southpaw, Kesslers natural enemy as a "by-the-book boxer", not to mention he's the bigger and faster and more versatile fighter... honestly, this fight is a no-brainer, Kessler would only take the rounds that Dawson gives him

 

polished? how's he more polished? just seems like a blanket statement to me.

I know how to evaluate fights and I've got pretty much every Kessler fight and Dawson fight on DVDs. Kessler to me is a typical eastern block fighter who can bang a bit but Chad is a different type of fighter that Kessler has not even seen yet. I cannot invision Kessler causing him any problems because he is not fast enough and Dawson would block everything coming. Dawson switches off some rounds smartly to take a breather, if Kessler pressed him in these breaks dawson would just cover up, the same way he did against Tarver and come back with his own punches. Kessler was disheartened somewhat whwn he fought calzaghe and I see the same happening here, Dawson is no Andrade lol and would be one of the best if not the best boxer Kessler has faced. And I dont go by resume's but really what level of opposition is Kessler fighting man, come on its a joke. He needs to step it up and fight someone worthy, not Danilo Hausler, gimme a ****ing break.

 

If Kessler is a marketing gimmick, then tell me who the multi-million organisation is who is behind this marketing creation?

Is Kessler really so fortunate to be a fictional person created largely by the media like a Lacy?

Or - or does Kessler come from a small country with little to no media of international importance? And with a promoter smaller than most with virtually no international influence?

Anyway - many SMWs are surely able to beat Kessler. Dawson is huge, so he should have a good chance. But in the division as it looks now can you let us know just three SMWs who would beat the 'marketing creation''? If he really is just a marketing creation it shouldn't be difficult at all. in fact I guess 10-20 fighters should beat him, but ok - 3 will do.

Right there are four aces which any boxer honestly would find it hard to beat.

Therefore, I agree that Dawson could well win this fight.

However, arguments like "who has he met?" or "he is white" (like this moroninelli or whatever-guy comes up with...) are just too dumb arguments to be used in any adult forum.

But yeah - I can easily imagine Dawson winning.

 

dawson doesn't beat Kessler because he's "huge", he beats Kessler b/c he's a much, much better boxer. why don't you answer my question? How's Kessler more "polished"?

Defense..lol One thing forgotten about. I find it funny that people just ignore the fact that Dawson is in that ring looking good making guys that are ACCURATE punchers like a Tarver that is usually not wasting punches to score get demoted to just going all out to land anything.... If Dawson was who he is wit no defense then you can say a guy like that overrated but yet dangerous Kessler could win by KO. But the fact that Kessler aint never seen no **** like Dawson in all his days fighting is different. However Dawson seen the same exact style in Adamek who is a million times more sturdy but slower than Kessler. Dawson would beat the **** out of Kessler and Kessler and them would not never take the fight.
