Kessler just did it in his last fight, and now you're saying he can't do it. Its not in theory. Its there on youtube. 5 punch combo for the knockout. But i get you. Like you said for you its either one or the other, black or white. I'll give you another example. Wlad is basically a 1-2 fighter, but he knocked out Austin by throwing 4 left hooks. That doesn't mean he isn't a 1-2 fighter.
You mentioned that this guy Sartison went on to win two fights at 168 but it would of made more sense to say those guys were 7-17 or 11-7 type of fighters. Its really common sense not to mention **** like that.
And he beat Perdomo and Nievas who have only three defeats between them before fighting Kessler. I don't blame him for taking two comeback fights after his life's hardest fight and a KO loss.
He threw 5 wild punches and landed one. I just posted a youtube link of him doing the same thing. They were not fluid combinations........I guess if you make believe it is though.
No they are bad because they have more losses then they have wins. :rofl Besides the heavyweight division. Who? I assess a fighter by his ability. I couldnt give a damn where he's from. It just so happens that the majority of European fighters are crude, mostly because European trainers are terrible and cant teach boxing for ****. I mean froch doing the mongoose. Really lol?
Has he landed a 5 punch combo on any fighter on the level of Tarver? You compared Chad landing on Tarver to him "landing" on whomever. When in reality Chad landed more of his combinations on top level fighters than Kessler did against C level contender fighters. You can argue Sartison vs Tarver all day if you want to. I mean seriously.
As overrated as Kessler is, he might beat Dawson just from being busier and a bigger puncher. Its a tough call because Chad can take a punch and has tremendous handspeed. But I just have this feeling with Dawson, he doesnt have that x factor to be an elite.
There were TWO main points to my first point in the thread. 1) To inform you that you were dead wrong in describing Satriston as a blown up middle or light middle. He has only fought at SuperMiddle and light heavy. 2) To state that I would favour Dawson over Kessler in a future match-up. DannyRand does not appear to have a defensible point in his post, therefore I was wondering what he was getting at. You were just plain wrong, and needed correcting.
Kessler hasnt shown power when fighting top fighters, only when fighting old dudes and guys that arent very good to start with...**** he couldnt stop a ****ing featherweight in Thobela that has been knocked out 4 times.:yep
"Besides the heavyweight division. Who? " Who? Did you watch Lacy attempt to take on Joe? Did you watch Taylor attempt to take on Froch? Did you watch Andrade attempt to take on Kessler? Did you watch Roy attempt to take on Joe? Did you watch Bernard attempt to take on Joe? and so on. And why not talk about HW? Or CW where Adamek is making damage to the US fighters? I find it very surreal when American fans still think American fighters are better just because they are on US television.
Not often a poster is stupid enough to contradict himself within the same paragraph ! But you are an exceptional poster and you've managed it. That'd be the same Froch tha stopped elite US boxer, Jermain Taylor. Something the legendary BHop couldn't manage in two trys.
Yet its ok for you to think that European fighters are better because you can watch them on TV??? Did you watch Adamek attempt to take on Dawson Did you watch Hatton Attempt to take on Mayweather Did you watch Witter attempt to take on Bradley.. Note I only listed PRIME fighters and not the 40+ tour that Cazlaghe was on:good
