Come on guys. Kess had just lost to Calzaghe in only his 40th fight. You can't expect him to jump right back in and face any puncher - even if he is a somewhat limited fighter (remember this is a couple months B4 Abraham managed to light him up in spectacular fashion - afterwards he was right there calling for Miranda - rumor has it he's the one that asked Alex to "give him a good kick for me when he's down and not looking"). Kess apparently just had a very sore vagina. He needed those two years to regain his lost confidence. Plus, he knew he could safely spend it fighting 5'2" hobbit Sartison, 43 year old amateur Haussler, and novice stick man Perdomo as they couldn't punch through a sick junior welterweight. Now he is ready to step up and fight the guy who fought Miranda in his 19th fight. He was hoping to call out a couple 40 year olds and call it a career but the Super Six came up - similar to Calz and his reluctance to take the Lacy fight and later trying to call it off at the last moment - Mikkel knew he would have been called an international ***** so he's coming out of his shell to make a stand. I think he deserves credit for untucking his tail after that embarrassing Miranda debacle. Let's hope he makes a good showing and doesn't completely shatter his ESB fans :blurp who bob on his knob post after post. That would be a damn shame. He deserves redemption. Your assesment of Markus Beyer is far from accurate. Beyer in his day was a very competent fighter, certainly no 'punching bag' and far from Peter Manfredo's level. The only thing one could criticize is that Beyer was past his best years, that is certainly true.
