you cant be serious, floyd sr trained him for 1 fight and he says it was the worst camps he has ever had, mayweather was more about himself than the fighter, apparently mayweather started telling reporters how dirrells kicking his ass in sparring in preparations for one of his fights.

he was better with dan birmingham and with EMM had a good run.

 

I think that has less to do with Muhammad and more to do with Chad. There's a reason Floyd Sr. dropped him.

floyd didn't drop him, dawson hired him for the adamek fight and then left him after one more fight to train with EMM.

 

Cloud-Diaconu would be a very good fight. I'd favor Cloud but its a good fight and I'd rather see that right now then Dawson-Cloud.

No, YOU can't be serious. Mayweather Sr trained Dawson for TWO fights (Adamek & Ruiz), & in those 2 fights, that is still the best Dawson has looked in his entire career. Mayweather SR didn't say anything about Dirrell kicking his ass until AFTER they split up. Dawson is the common denominator in all of this. This guy ALWAYS has a new trainer. It's unfortunate the Hatton situation will always hang over Mayweather Sr's head. There, he is training a fighter that doesn't really fit his defensive style of teaching toward the end of his career & that fighter is paying more attention to Lee Beard than Mayweather sr. Sr said **** it imma just get paid than.

dawson said floyd was too much about himself and would talk about personal camp stuff outside of camp, he also said mayweather would show up late to the gym.

and how much improvement can a trainer make in 2 camps? plus not forgetting those 2 opponents were stylistically made for dawson.

dawson trained with iceman john scully, dan birmingham, floyd sr and EMM and out of all of them he thought he made the most improvements with EMM, he stayed with EMM and birmingham longer than the others.

 

floyd sr isn't a good trainer at all, roger is the best trainer in the mayweather family, the whole reason floyd left sr was because of the same reasons most other fighters do, he's tooo much up his own ass and doesn't really give a **** about anything else.

 

Relentless is proving why he's an idiot. Mayweather Sr did great with Dawson in the 2 fights he's been with him.
