Chad Dawson will Destroy Pascal in the rematch

    Give it to Pascal! He took advantage Chad's inactivity. Was allowed to rest and steal rounds with late flurries, and get lucky with the early stoppage. According to the rules, he won fair and square, but let's be real.

    He didn't have much of a chance of surviving the last round if he got out of the 11th. Pascal should immediately rematch him, but he'll milk his new found status and fight a big money fight against Bute or something.

    However, until the day of the mandatory rematch, Pascal's clock is tickin'.. He will not face the same Dawson. This loss was good for Chad because he needs to be more aggressive and in the rematch he will easily beat Pascal.

    it doesn't matter... he looked **** tonight and has shown himself to be nowhere near the fighter he was hyped to be. Also, some heart, balls, and post fight class wouldn't hurt either.

    As a Dawson fan, this was by far the worst I've seen him fight. He won't beat Pascal the next time around either unless he works some things out.

    Congrats to Pascal, just a fierce competitor.

    You guys have good points. I can't really argue many, except that Chad clearly had him hurt bad in the 11th and the 12th would've been decisive in Chad's favor. Nevertheless, Pascal is the new Champ! He earned it. I'm pissed cus' I love Chad, but when the history books write about this era, this fight will be no different then Joe Louis vs Max Schmerling 1... Roy Jones Jr. vs Montell Griffin 1... or Tunney beating Dempsey 2x.

    It is possible that he wins convincingly next time. But saying he would have won by KO and trying to diminsh Jean's victory is pure BS. I've seen way too many fights where had the fight been stopped for some reason at one point, people would be saying "oh this guy would have KO'd him!".

    What if JMM got cut in the last KD of the first round in the fight with Pac and not allowed to continue? Everyone would say Pac would have KTFO out of him. And that was MUCH worse than this. JMM was hurt and down three times.

    it was close! review the punch statistics. Chad landed more punches and the power punches were virtually even. If the fight went 12, it would've been closer, but you're right. Pascal should get to enjoy the victory. He earned it. Fought a smart fight. It was an ugly fight all around like Merchant said.

    99 percent of the best fighters of all-time have lost jordan1. Doesn't mean he isn't or won't be the best again.

    If Dawson is more aggressive next time, it also means he's more susceptible to incoming, and it's quite clear he wanted none of Pascal's power.
