Hmmmm mighty praise indeed considering calzaghe has never been out boxed in his whole career. You see if you have watched the majority of joe's career which i don't think majority of you have (not your fault as may not of been on us tv) you would see he can change his style and find a way to win.

Now with this great thing we call the internet you can download or watch joe's career

Yes its really that simple, so these people who think that joe could never bang can see how hard he used to hit before so much hand trouble. Also then if you actualy watch the majority of the fight you may appreiciate how actualy good he was/is. Rather then basing your theories on watch his last 3 or 4 fights......

Because you all gang up and group together in the dismissing of a fighter you actualy no very little about then every one believes the **** you are all sprouting. So other imbecilles who actualy have watched far less or none of his fights sprout it like it was the gospel because they read other peoples unfounded bull **** and took it as there own beliefs.

This happens all the time when people talk about fights or fighters they haven't seen for themselves.

To say chad dawson rapes calzaghe even at his age now is utterly ridiculous comment to make and shows the thread starter really knows bollox all. No one rapes calzaghe especialy some one who got a gift against ancient glen johnson (the most ripped off man in boxing) :bart

It's like for instant some people (god bless em) claim bhop won the fight against joe, either they are blind or they are blind with hatred :fire


It's a shame that there isn't a way of filtering the ****, so people could only talk about something or someone they really know something about.

Any way id make joe a slight favorite against dawson (if he were prime id bet my house on him) but there would certinaly be no rapeing going on now anyway. :good

Please watch some fights its no hard or if you have watched the fights explain how and why he does what no other fighter has done before and out boxed joe calzaghe ?

It would be a simple job using his skills,his superior hand speed,he is very rangy and tall.Joe is far older and altough Chad has a glass jaw he can't get KOed by a slap or two.The body work from Dawson would really slow he down in the late rounds and make it easy to win the later rounds.Easy UD

Do the people that think Dawson would easily outbox Joe think he is the second coming of Ali of soemthing? I've not watched many Dawson fights but the ones I have seen lead me to think he a well skilled boxer without a great punch and a bit of an iffy chin. Kessler would outbox him 7 days a week and twice on sunday.

Dawson just isnt as good a boxer as Calzaghe. Never has been, never will be. Joe seems to be on the slide a bit so Dawson, at this late stage in Joe's career, has a slim chance but the Joe from a year ago would utterly own him, the Joe from now would beat him easily.

 

So how come no other taller fighter etc has not been able to do this before, what is so special about dawson. Seriously what has he done or who has he beat to make you honestly believe he would beat joe. What win does chad have, which made you believe he could do an easy and yes you did say EASY job on clazaghe.

Is he that special a fighter he can easily beat the p4p 2 in the world surely then chad must be something really special and not the fighter that got a gift against johnson ?

Just you saying he is taller etc is not enough does he have the adaptabilty of a calzaghe, can he change his tactics 2 or 3 times a fight like calzaghe. You seem to be under the impresion joe is a one dimensional fighter, and dawson is some boxing genius :-( the mind boggles.

 

It's your opinion and I respect it but I don't agree,beating a 43 y o Bernard and a 39 y o Roy doesn't give him any respect.Dawson was 24 when he became champ beating an undefeteated Adamek

 

Isnt that the same old Hopkins that ****ing owned Tarver, one of the guys Joe would magically get respect for?

 

Dawson is an immature fighter with stamina and chin issues. Very well skilled, but he would never deal with every facet of the game Joe brings. Once Glenn Johnson hit him with a few shots he caved in and allowed Johnson back into the fight by fighting with no brain.

Once Joe puts educated pressure on him behind a jab, with far greater speed and variety (and skill) than Johnson, he'll cave in again.

 

And Calzaghe was champion aged 25 after beating Eubank, and beat an undefeated Kessler??

 

So basicly you think he beats him, because thats what you think with no annalysis and joes whole career and 11 years as a world champ is summed up in him beating a 43 y/o hopkins.

Anyway bud im in any way having a go at you peronaly its your oppinion and your welcome to it, im just sick of fighters being written off or slated just cause people say so with no proof and nothing to back up the beliefs if that makes sense.......

You know like fighter A beats fighter B or fighter C would ktfo underfeated fighte E

or undefeated 11 year 2 weight p4p no.2 fighter A gets easily beaten by fighter B who has one descent win and just got a gift against a man nearly 3 years older then fighter A with 10 losses on his record.

Just would like people to give there own annalysis and reasoning how and why.:good

P.s will be funny if Tarver lowers the boom on dawson i hope not though as i cant stand tarver but i wont write him off just because i dont like him

 

yeah i agree... i like joe but, dawson would be a horrible match for him with his style and skillset

dawson UD if not stoppage if this fight was to happen... Joe doesn't have the power, speed, size or ability to keep dawson from banging him up, all he would have against him is his akwardness.....and thought alone won't take him to a UD
