It's an interesting matchup. Dawson is himself a little unproven. But it would not suprise me at all if Dawson slaps joe down.

 

I'm still not sure about Dawson's glass chin. ALright, he was put down by Adamek (and who was the guy..Willy Lee?) but can we say Khan yet? I dont think so.

I'm not here to make excuses Executioner, nor do I really care what people beilieve either, however I did get a helluva kick out of reading my posts from last nite though. I'm not here to attack any posters on here, just share my points of view is all, as like you I love this sport....Getting drunk on here is quite common, and If I had a dollar for everytime someone got shitfaced and stepped out of their normal realm of sensibility I would be a millionaire.....No ill will executioner....I enjoy reading your posts on here as for the most part they are quite intelligent and are put down with a logical air of clairity

As much as Joe beating Dawson is obvious, it is not quite as obvious as the statement: Dawson would box Diaconu's head off.

I honestly don't know what sort of analysis takes place for a "Diaconu W" to come out the other end.

I'm a fan of Dawson the boxer, he's very skilled, but in several key areas he is lacking and it makes him vunerable. Stamina and chin.

We saw it against an old Johnson, who did nothing special but take his shots, walk him down, wobble him, and thus he got back into the fight after previously getting schooled through the early rounds.

Joe Calzaghe could easily implement the tactic of putting pressure on him too, only he wouldn't even be as predictable as Johnson and certainly quicker, more awkward and overall more skilled. He would jab his way in, and try to be effective in mid to close range. Don't be fooled, even china handed Joe could get Dawson's attention.

Joe would lose early rounds but take over mid to late.

 

I dont know man, Chad doesnt really impress me.

Your lack of boxing knowledge is frightening. Dawson was hurt badly by Johnson and still chose to stay in there against him instead of running. He's showed great heart in that fight....please stop it.
