"I want bernard Hopkins. I want to be the pound for pound champion, and he's the only light heavyweight left out there now that joe calzaghe is retired. But for me to get bernard I've got to beat Tarver again"

"If dawson can't get a major fight at 175, he is willing to drop down to super middleweight. While the names are thin at 175, there are plenty of big fights at 168. WBC super middleweight champ Carl Froch is now a major player. MikkelKessler & Lucian Bute are also big names. With the expectations of Arthurt Abraham and Kelly Pavlik going to 168, that should give Dawson a lot of options in the future"

I don't think Dawson can make 168 anymore.

If Dawson wanted good fights he would have dropped his belt and told Tarver to **** off ages ago.

That would make him look a bit silly considering he already dropped one belt so he could sign up to fight Tarver twice.

Even though they look shiny and nice, they are still pointless. Dawson-Tarver II would have been worse than painful.

You do know it's only post-poned right? Dawson-Tarver II is unfortunately still happening.

Really? I can't see how Dawson could make 168, he looks a big 175 to me, I thought he cut quite a bit just to make LHW?

To make that sort of drop in weight might not be a good thing, maybe better going up to cruiser and proving the adamek win wasn't dut o the pole being weight drained?

He told me he could make 168 easy and that's the more natural weight for him. He only weighed 178 3 or 4 weeks ago. Chad can make 168 no problem.

He told me he couldn't. I was talking to his mother and she said he wasn't gonna go down to 168.

I think he knows. Considering he was only 178 that long before a fight, 168 is no problem. I wasn't joking troll.

He was a MW at some point. I think he can easily make 168.

Kessler-Dawson or Bute-Dawson would be awesome.
