Hopkins dont fight like an old timer & Jones is only considered really past it because of what Jones was - which is 1 of the best fighters ever but if you look at Jones as a general contender in the LHWT class then he isnt bad at all, he would certainly take care of the B level guys, he did ok vs Joe, he just got outworked.
