I've never seen Dawson vs Adamek, but I did see Dawson vs Mendoza. I was impressed with Dawson but Mendoza was a total lemon. I am guessing that when people say Dawson would beat Hopkins they are basing themselves on the Adamek fight? I'd like to see Dawson vs Erdei or Dawson vs Johnson.
They also say he'd beat Hopkins because Hopkins is all but finished as a top level fighter at LHW, I doubt he'd even beat Johnson at this point, much less Dawson. A prime Hopkins is a different story.
The guy is f*cking good. The more I watch of him, the more impressed I am. Its a pity the Diaconu fight didn't come through, because it would have given him a chance to prove it.
