Chael Sonnen Busted for PED's

It would definitely be nice to have more information about this. Most obviously, what exact PED he tested positive for.

Well he did have flu symptoms a couple of days before the fight

 

This is so demoralizing to hear. I hope Dana comes down on him like ****ing hellfire. Sonnen's performance vs Silva was so ****ing good, this really is a complete kick in the testes.

He should be sitting out a ban when Anderson fights Vitor Belfort.

 

Since the kind of PED he tested positive for has not been revealed, let's not throw the guy under the bus just yet.
However, if he did take a cold/flu medication that contained a PED such as norepinephrine, Chonnen and his camp would have to be pretty stupid to not have checked it out before he took it. There's no excuse for an athlete that competes in a sport that is subject to drug testing to be ignorant of the kind of substances that are banned.
But still, it's all speculation until we find out just what he had in his system.
