Chael Sonnen is a true warrior. Give him your respect.

I hated Sonnen but I've come round to him, the guy is tough as nails.

 

Had he not talked so much he would've been loved as much as Matt Hughes IMO.

 

Respected yes, but Matt isnt a much loved fighter fella And Chael does deserve kudos for being willing to step up to the plate at such short notice, as do any of the old Team Quest guys. That gym has a fantastic old school philosophy, just fight

 

I think Sonnen is more embarrassed about his loss to Silva & will take anything that can make his name relevant again. Hed prob step in an fight JDS.

Sonnen is well an truly on the way he down, he knows it thats why hes keen to scrap Jones not because hes a warrior, hes desperate.

 

He probably isnt the only fighter willing to step up in the last minute but he was the only who has jabbed Jones with comments and then accept the fight that we know of. Im sure there where others who would have accepted the fight but didnt get asked or wasnt given any credit

 

That fact that Hendo was hurt almost 3 weeks ago and Chael knew about it.... Come on guys.... as always pulling the wool over the eyes of MMA fans. This was a set up...and Chael "Real Estate CHeat" Sonnen is a joke

I can't respect him, and I want to see him lose every fight in embarassing fashion. His trash talk is too close to the bone and more importantly he is dishonest.

And in regards to him as a fighter his ground and pound style is a bore IMO.

I hate how his mouth is getting him these big fights.

I've never liked him and never will, but respected his fighting mentality before this incident and do so even more now. Guy is ready to go at the drop of a hat, you simply must respect that.

A lot of fighters actually. Taking a beating from Jones is no joke. Sonnen is not worthy of the fight though. Nobody would pay to watch that ****.
