So in other words you would have judged him no matter what he would choose to do (take the Jones fight or not). Not noble and 'smart' that he took the fight, a coward if he hadn't. Cool stuff.
No. I wouldn't have cared had he not taken the fight, just like I don't fault Jones for not accepting the offer. But I know why he would have taken it, and it's not because he is a warrior. I have never said that any fighter is a coward, so **** off with that noise.
What I meant to say was that Sonnen would be damned if he did and damned if he didn't by people like you, for the sole reason that you simply don't like him. Sonnen especially isn't one known to not take fights. He always does.
I don't hate Sonnen, or any fighter really, so that theory doesn't hold up. He will take fights on short notice because he knows that it will put him in a good place within the company and it will line his pockets. There is nothing wrong with that, but I wouldn't attribute it to warrior spirit. I would say that he is smart when it comes to his career. He knows how to sell fights, and he has gone much further than his ability alone would have allowed him because of it.
I never suggested you hated anyone, dude. But Sonnen is just one of those fighters, you either like him or dislike him. Anyway, my point was that he's one of those guys that will always fight anyone they put in front of him, so that has to be something positive when it comes to fighters. And if he happens to be selling himself in a smart and profitable way, so be it.
Sonnen is no warrior. A drug cheat is no warrior. He is very smart though and has made far far more money than his talents deserved.
Exactly not to mention the way he started winding Jones up on twitter after knowing that Hendo was injured its so blatent. This is all true, he isn't a warrior either hes a bully he quit in both Silva fights.
