Chael Sonnen talks his way back into a title shot. What about Hendo?

Problem is, people need to ***** about something so they will make up **** to rant about crying that life isn't fair or going the way THEY think it should. Sonnen I think deserves the rematch. We see instant rematches in all sports for contests NOT as close as the first Sonnen/Silva match so I don't see a problem with it.

Think about it. The challenger was beating on the champ for literally 24 minutes out of a 25 minute fight and the champ pulled out a hail mary finish to stop the challenger, suspense at its finest! The challenger and champ HATE each other! The challenger is one of the craftiest **** talkers of all time! Its literally 50/50 in fanbase for each fighter. The challenger is honestly the ONLY fighter to give the champ any real problems and the promoter can just sit back and have a drink and watch. Its a total win for Dana and the UFC. Honestly its a no brainer. Dana would have to be a complete moron if he doesn't put this fight together and we all know, whether you like him or not, Dana isn't stupid.

 

Henderson was going to fight Silva at UFC 139 if the champion's shoulder wasn't injured. Henderson was openly moaning about not getting the fight when the Shogun match was announced. And White two weeks ago was talking about Henderson being the next challenger for Anderson if he beat Shogun.

 

I'd love to see Hendo get his rematch but I'd love to see Sonnen get his too. As long as Silva doesn't ***** out either one would be fine with me.

Problem is the greater majority of fans WANT to see Sonnen get the rematch. **** probably half the fans that want the rematch don't even know Hendo already fought him or worse yet who Hendo even is!

 

Sonnen doesn't deserve the shot, because he got finished while he was cheating, and has only won one fight since that time. He needs to do more to merit another title shot.

However, the UFC will go with whatever option garners the most attention and then the most money. So Anderson vs Sonnen II will happen.

Who would between Hendo and Sonnen at 185 - now that's a fight I'd like to see. If anyone can knock Sonnen out, it's Hendo.

 

Henderson has done nothing at middleweight to earn a shot. All his successes since losing to Silva have been above middleweight
