According to Chael, Conor was within his right to cheapshot Khabib's teammate .

Got to admire his conviction, even though it's so far fetched it's ridiculous.

Sonnen has always been a conman and a cheat. He was a decent fighter but never an elite fighter. Without his crazy trash talk and personna he would easily be forgotten.

He obviously sides with Dana's promotion.

Pity the interviewer didn't ask him what Khabib should have done with Conor at the bus incident.

I’m on the same page as him.

There was the bus incident: settled in court, no action taken by the UFC.
    Finished.

There was the official UFC 229 fight:
settled in the Octogan via 4th round stoppage.
    Finished.

There was a two foot jump into the crowd by Khabib after the official fight on a team member of Conor’s: not settled by either the UFC or NSAC.

There were people outside of the two official fighters who entered the Octogan to assault one of the fighters: not settled by the UFC or NSAC.

The bus is done, finished. The fight was the platform to settle the dispute and is done, finished.

The last two incidents are incendiary and dangerous and ARE NOT linked to the other two.
You can’t say you jumped into a crowd and attacked some because a guy attacked a bus and it was dealt with by the legal system.

I think Conor has the right to defend himself if he felt under threat by the actions of someone who had no right to act the way they did. And he proved to be right as those people were there with the sole intention of assaulting him, and did.

As long as Conor was inside the cage and wasn't hitting anyone, nobody laid a finger on him.

It's only when he left the octagon to propulse himself voluntarily like a madman on the fence the confrontation started.

He clearly initiated the escalation inside the cage and it's perimeter.

He's been suspended together with Khabib, and i'm sure he's going to get punished accordingly.

People are getting universally fed up with his crazy act.

Read the comments on the youtube page i linked.

This was the escalation that resulted from Khabib jumping into the crowd and attacking someone?

If Khabib accepts the submission win with the grace you’d expect from a champion, none of this happens.

The only reason we’re having this discussion is due to Khabib.
