Better opponent in terms of skills, accomplishment > Chagaev
Better opponent in terms of hype and excitement > Haye

David Haye would knock out Chagaev like he did Fragomeni.

If Haye's chin is so bad, how come Fragomeni landed so many punches through out the entire fight and David did not go down?

Frogomeni is a feather-fisted CW who had Haye in some big trouble. Chagaev would give Haye all kinds of problems cause he can take a punch and has an accurate left hand with some hw pop.

Stylistically, it's better for Haye since Chagaev is more of boxer counter-puncher though. Still, I see Chagaev taken out the SAVIOR in brutal fashion :yep

It will obviously mean a lot more. Especially since now the ring belt is involved and we will have our first heavyweight champ since Lewis.

Haye is good, but he was a champion at cruiser when it was fairly weak. He talked the game and got a shot but he can't show up. He'll be back and when he gets his shot it'll be against the true heavy champ.

Chagaev beat Felix Savon two times as amateur and he also beat Valouev, along with other heavyweights. Haye was stopped as amateur and pro cruiserweight. Chagaev had good chin, he would knock Haye out easily. I hope WBC will allow Vitali to fight Haye and knock him out. Vitali wants to fight Haye. Waiting on WBC ruling.

Chag also beat Ruiz. Chag wins over Valuev and Ruiz is far better then Haye beating old Barrett who Valuev already beat by tko.

Yes, I agree, good point, plus Vlad knocked Barrett out when Barrett was at his peak, blood everywhere.

Fragomeni is not known for a KO power. In fact he stops opponents rarely.

Valuev knocked out Barrett as well, so it's really no great feat by any means.

When Wladimir fought Barrett it was quite different. Barrett was a rising star back then. Solid record and very promosing.

No, Wlad was just the first fighter to really expose him. I believe theres a difference. Barrett would of never did anything special at Heavyweight anyway, he's the same size as Chris Bryd without the overall boxing talant and skills. His chin was exposed and he was never the same after that.
