Thats right! Liakhovich looks in tremendous physical shape and well prepared to fight. We have seen what Liakhovich is capable of at his best when he almost took out Brewster. For him to almost knock out Brewster that tells me that when he lands one of his crushing hooks Helenius is going down . For me to believe that Helenius is gonna win I would have to beleive that Helenius could brawl toe to toe with Lamon Brewster for 12 rounds and win. That dont work for me.

Chagaev is coming to take his old belt back. I expect Chagaev to use Povetkins experiance disadvatage against him and his craftyness to outpoint Povetkin. David Haye could barely outpoint Valuev. Chagaev has outpointed Valuev now that tells me Chagaevs quality.

Povetkin and Helenius are going down I predict it!! Saturday night is going to be a nightmare for Sauerland.

Can you post a recent pic of Liakhovich? Let's see how he looks.

I see Chagaev - Povetkin as a close fight, I wouldn't bet on it, can't call a winner, could go either way.

Same with Helenius - Liakhovich, provided Liakhovich is in very good shape.

This is a lot like the "David gonna KO Wladimir" threads a few months back...

I'm backing Liakhovich for an upset this weekend myself, actually.

Expect some kind of Sauderland political influence in these two fights however.

"Looking in shape" is one thing, getting the job done in the ring is another story.

Sergei's recent weight of 230 is the lowest he's been at in years and years.

Eight pounds lighter then he was against Brewster, and he was in very good shape for that fight.

    Thanks for the pics.

    Liakhovich listed at 6'4
    Helenius listed at 6'6.5

Looks like more than 2.5 inches to me.

IMO, Helenius will UD Liakhovich, or late KO and Povetkin will TKO Chagaev before round five..........

I would not doubt that. I am tending to lean toward Liak and Chag.

I think Povetkin of right now is another class ahead of Chagaev is right now. I think we will see that they don't have to be American in order to have a heavyweight showdown infested with low power punch output, no fireworks, lots of hugging, and a little belly flab.

Helenius has never done anything for me. I expect him to win (I guess?), but at 9:1 underdog, I'd advise people to use some of that Vcash on Liakhovich.

Stupid question but is there any tv coverage in the US at all?
