    ESB,

There has been a lot of speculation as to why Chagaev wants to fight Krasiniqi- he is still recovering from his "illness," he expects to loose the Valuev reamatch and want an easy defense, etc.

While readig about Chag's amatuer days, I found the following fact:

So one reason that I would throw in the hat, is maybe he just wants some good old fashioned revenge for a loss that, for one reason or another, he still takes hard.

Krasniqi was a good amateur, good boxing skills, natural talent, but has not done well as a pro. Chagaev will knock him out if they fight, just hope Krasniqi does not get seriously hurt.

I don't know why he would take an amateur loss from 12 years ago that hard, even if it was the Olympics. But who knows.

chagaev needs to stop dicking around and fight valuev asap, preferably around the same time as wlad's next fight. if he wins, fight wlad. end of story. once wlad takes his head off, he can avenge the krasniqi loss. lol :yep

this illness pretense has gone on long enough.
