If you have a good jab that can rival Wladimir's jab you may be able to offset him and put him on the backpedal. Only person I think that has the jab to do that may be Kevin Johnson and he is still getting KO'd when he fights Wladimir. Lennox Lewis had it though. Working Wladimir's body with repeated combos up and downstairs is also a way to break him down, Brewster did it very well, but he couldn't do it in the rematch.

Exactly. He didn't have the size or strength, or the balls to even try. He's in the same league as Peter, maybe a 1/2 notch better.

the guy wouldnt throw any punches...He would make Wlad miss the right hand over the top which cause Wlad to fall in and he just wouldnt do anything. He should have been moving to his right which would have lined up his left hand....

When you get into a ring with Vlad you suddenly get hit by a shot gun jab which keep you off balance all night. His jab hurts like Hell. Chagaev is good fighter, but against Vlad he was outclassed. He will be back, is much better fight than Haye. I wish Haye had not ducked out of the fight, Vlad would have knocke him out cold. Easy knockout for Vlad. Then the haters would have called Haye names.

Best example of that I can remember in recent times was Jones banging the hell out of Eric Hardings arms when he couldnt land his shots. It in the end stopped the fight because Harding had a injuried bicep that came from Jones banging on it.

Shut up Chagaev lost to Ruiz. I doubt that Haye would lose to Ruiz.

Chagaev beat Ruiz and Valoeuv. Valouev beat Ruiz. Chagaev beat Felix Savon. Chagaev would have knocked Haye out.

Tell me, who has Haye beaten to deserve a title fight?

None of the fighters that have lost to Wlad are willing to let their hands go even when they get in range. Chagaev was no different than the rest. Only Sam Peter threw punches but not enough to the body. Klitchko seems to have all the answers for his opponents.

Chageav did not loose to Ruis he busted him up pretty good on the way to a clear win. The judge that scored it for Ruiz must have been blind and you most likely have never seen the fight.

Ruiz is owned 100% by Don King.

You know, I don't think Chag ever stood a chance because he has a such a conventional style and Wlad has been fighting that conventional style since his teen days training as an ameteur, only an unconventional style can trouble Wlad, that's why guys like Calvin Brock, Samuel Peters, Corrie Sanders and Lamon Brewster were capable of giving him more trouble.

Sorry to disillusion you, but Chagaev has nothing in his arsenal to bother a guy like Haye who can fight moving forward or backward and has superior reflexes speed and power

Show me proof of Haye beating a top ten heavyweight.
