I dont know how many people are aware that it is possible to heal from chronic hepatitis B with anti hepatitis B medications. So universum says Chagaev will past the hep. tests, I am sure they already ran tests on him, and he was clean, meaning they could not detect signs of the virus in his body, which means he's most likely non-infectious. The fight between Chagaev and Haye will get licensed, and will happen, unless Haye finds some extraordinary excuse to pull out from the fight, which might happen considering Haye's history of running from opponents. that being said I hope Chagaev puts a quick end to that hype job Haye.

How much has this disease hurt chagaev? he looks not as good as earlier in his career before he got it.

that could be a side effect from the anti hep B medications (interferon alpha) which itself is quite toxic to the human body, but its the only way to cure chornic hepatitis B. But once he's off those meds for a while he's going to get better. My guess is Chagaev looks bad from the meds, and not from hep b, because he probably already had hep b for a while before being diagnosed. but this is just a guess.

well the question is if he is healed or if he's just able to "manage" his virus. I'm sure he isn't contagious if they say so. Very few patients (none?) get rid of their chronic HepB, though.

Just sign a deal with Don King, everyone has to.. dealing with the WBA.

Then he'll magically heal from it.

    Haye says, not Hayes.

Ofcourse he's next, I'm surprised Kali Meehan is not in talks for David Haye, Meehan and Chagaev are obvious reason for continuing a career at heavyweight, all whilst claiming to be "the truth".

You can't cure Hep B. It is like herpes.

Chagaev has declined almost as much Roy Jones at this rate. It's sad.

Chagaev has had hep B for some time. So he is probably chronic. Hence he won't get rid of it. Regardless of whether the transmission risk is low, if I was Haye, I wouldn't be going near him.

You wouldn't go bareback with a girl that had Hep B, you wouldn't box someone either. Not worth the risk. Every time you got near him you would be trying to keep away from the blood, thats one too many things to be worrying about.

He can't fight in the UK for the above reasons. It's too risky.

Even if he has a little bit, England will stop it from happening
