His first fight will be on the Sturm-Geale undercard. Thoughts?

Possibly this means he has more chance of facing Vitali now if Manny Charr doesn't retire him. This can be only a good thing.

    Come on, he's finished.

He was C level in his prime and now the Hep B has completely ruined him.

And won a split decision v John Ruiz in far worse style than Haye's knockout victory over the same man. :-( Haye has nothing to do with this

Chagaev has never beaten a live opponent. Ever.

Could you give a list of these live opponents you think he should have beat?

Can you give a list of opponents he has looked better than C level against?

12 rounds with Matt Skelton, the distance with Travis Walker, the distance with Voldimyr Vyrchchchchcs

Completely average fighter, and if he wasn't left-handed would have rightfully had 0 hype

There is not a version of shambling, fat John Ruiz that Haye wouldn't knock out at some point or another. But again, this has nothing to do with Haye.

Chagaev is pretty poor and Vitali slap him about in another bore-fest

Good to hear. Universum fighters are overprotected IMO. Maybe now he'll have more tough fights and proves the haters wrong and makes more money too ad that.

Chagaev is not the same since Wladimir crashed him. It is hard to rocover after a Klitschko fight. Look what happened to Chisora. Klitschko fights are very grueling for their opponents.

Its too late for Chagaev to move back towards the top of the division, his best days are behind him.

At his best Chagaev was a good fighter, could have done more than he did though. There's still some good match ups for him out there and he can still make some decent money but most of the top fighters beat him today.

There was talk of a Mitchell-Chagaev fight, I'd like to see that if Mitchell gets by Banks. Don't think it wold happen but its a good fight.
