Guys like Chagaev, Ruiz and Valuev should not be holding "titles"
Ruiz would never have a held a title of any kind were it not for the influence of Don King. Thank goodness Valuev has rid boxing of this scourge.
Don't be so sure about this. Ruiz seems to never go away. He's been knocked out in 12 seconds, he lost to a past it Holyfield, he's lost to two former middleweights and he lost to Valuev and Chagaev in consecutive fights prior to this latest loss to Valuez. Despite all of this he continues to get title shots. No matter what happens, King keeps pulling strings and trotting this guy out there. I wouldn't be surprised if he got another title shot.
Chagaev needs to STFU. After pulling out of 3 title fights, twice against Valuev, he has no credibility left. He needs to go away, his 15 minutes are over.
