I don't forget, before this fight people would have been saying "You forget there is Chagaev..." Peter is a lumbering, bog standard heavy. I have not seen Povetkin so I will not comment. All the Eastern European heavys are poor....they come and go, get a title, lose it....each time a new one is hyped as being genuine class and then they fight some relic from the early 90s and look like crap.

round1: 10-9 skelton - good countering from skelton
    round2: 10-9 ruslan - lands a few good lefts
round3: 10-9 skelton - taking fight to ruslan and more active
round4: 10-9 ruslan - skelton more active ruslan landing cleaner
round5: 10-9 ruslan - ruslan landing cleaners now
round6: 10-9 ruslan - ruslan throwing effective combos now
round7: 10-9 ruslan - skelton spoiling chagaev's offense but doing nota
round8: 9-9 - pt taken from skelton but landed some nice uppercuts
round9: 10-9 ruslan - not impressive from either guy, ruslan landing only meaningful shots
round10: 10-9 ruslan - lands some good early lefts. skelton is done. not pressuring or throwing.
round11: 10-9 skelton - horrible performance from both, pity round for sketlon

These two are so bad they missed when they tried to touch gloves at the start of the 12th

Yeah but the division might improve in the next few years, with Povetkin, Solis, Haye etc. coming up.

No it wont. The late 70s and 80s was weak but it shits on this pathetic era by a mile.
Prime Witherspoon, Smith et al...**** everyone in this useless era other than Wlad.

It will improve, because once you reach zero, the only way is up.
