Scores : 117-111 117-111 117-107 Good last round, both gave it what they could. Fair play to Skelton, blue-collar effort with his self-admittedly limited skills, but he technically was always inferior. Proved his durability and bravery again though. This doesn't do a whole lot for Chagaev though. His boxing was fine and his left in particular, but point decisions aren't going to help your cause much in today's division...people are hungry for the flash of a KO guy. Much like Ibragimov, he seemed unwilling to capitalize much on his technical dominance.
You have not seen Povetkin, and you have the audacity to comment on "all" eastern Euro heavies. Guess what - they are still better then most of the US heavies from any era. Few heavily hyped fighter do not make a difference - look at the rankings during (overhyped) Ali era - and try to remember how shitty was anybody from #4 down.
It's a good thing we have Wladimir, because the rest of the belt holders/challengers are mediocre (aside from Povetkin).
