Chagaev Sucks!!!!

Agreed in part, they should strip Ruslan "Wish I was Tyson" Chagaev, and let Valuev fight a worthy oppenent for the title. The heavyweight division has become a real joke in boxing, it's time to weed out the pretenders and injury prone fighters.

 

Now that is a much better nickname for Chagaev.

 

The guy has held up more fights then Vitaly K.

 

Chagaev is a guy with a lot of talent and a good or even great amatuer pedigree. But he's suffered alot of injuries as of late and he ain't getting any younger. He's also one of few real heavyweights from Russia as of late (Ibragimov is a cruiserweight next to Chagaev).. and he's got the pop to stop anyone besides Valuev.

Chagaev definitely do not suck and is in my personal opinion a top5 heavyweight today without a doubt, as to wether we will see the Chagaev that beat Valuev again is still an uncertainty.

I think he's just extremely unlucky.

From the medical leave (or step aside money), to the rumors being almost blind to this...the guy just isn't cut out for this.

Honestly I think he should take this as a sign and hang em up.

 

No i agree with the thread chagaev does indeed suck he struggled to beat matt skelton :rofl

 

He was in control whilst being fouled, and when Skelton let him off the ropes he totally dominated him with his straight left.

Only Wladimir would completely dominate Matt in a 12 rounder.. Skelton is a dirty mother ****er who would give anyone problems except Wladimir ofcourse.

 

Chagaev shoud be gave up the belt. He sucks.

His blind on one eye, now injured again.

Struggled against Matt Skelton. He is a worse Champion and hold the title of Muhammad Ali, he is not worth of this title.

The only thing he can do as a Champ, vacate the title and let other boxers go for it.

 

Wlad lost to Purrity, Peter got slapped around by McCline, Valuev lost to Chagaev etc etc etc....

Chagaev is a good HW (at least in THIS class)...but extremely unlucky and now injury prone.

Chagaev beat Valuev and got praised, and now he has been injured more than once and they throw dirt at him like it's planned. Disgusting and uncalled for.

Yeah he has been madly unfortunate, and should indeed be stripped.
But I am one of the few that thinks he can come back strong and retain the title :happy

 

chagaev is a good fighter/good skills and knows what to do in a ring.

what can you do about an achilles .
anyone who has had this injury knows you can not put full weight on it for about 3 months and even then recovery is slow.

when an american footballer gets injured , is it the same reaction?

****ing ****s on 5 million a year and has the ****ing cheek to get injured and out for the season after 2 games.

So the man has an injury, how many passes has Vitali Kiltschko received for the same ****ing ****? about five against Rahman who he never fought, and suddenly another one with McClein who he also never fought.
