Chageav won via techincal decision after the 6th round. 60-54, 2x 58-56. One is off the other ones are about right. The fight was stopped due to Cagaev's cut. While Drumont looked dangerous at times, Chagaev proved to be able to handle difficult situations and come back. Hope Chageav takes Valuev's title.
Very boring fight. Both fighter did alot of posing. Drummond may have been a bit busier, but most of his punches were relatively ineffective; whereas, most of Chagaev's punches landed cleanly. Drummond did not impress. He did not take advantage of Chagaev's bad cut other than a little shoe shinine here and there trying to steel the round. Drummond sucked. Chagaev wasnt that much better.
Pretty well done summary of that fight,rodney! I had to pity Chagaev who was deeply disappointed with the outcome of his fight with Drummond.He had intended to showcase his skills in front of millions of tv viewers trying to water the greens for his upcomming rematch with Valuev.
