As I understand it, Chag is injured an cannot fight. Valuev has complained that he wants an interum shot and Huggy Bear Ruiz has filed suit. It will probably be Valuev-Ruiz for the vacant or interum title at some oint, but yeah, Saturday is definately off.
THe site that talks about boxing says Chagaev may also have another health problem, in addition to the achilles tear. If Ruiz wants the fight, he should be forced to fight THIS Saturday as scheduled, or else he won't get the fight. LOL
Plus the achilles injury Chagaev also has Problems with his eyes. He is nearly blind on his right eye, as rumors say.
The rumors of Hepitis B, Hepititis C, and blindness in one eye have been around for a awile. God, I hope these are not turem as Chag is the number 2 or 3 heavy out their and I am a fan, But is is hard to ignore that he had changed his style from brutal puncher to cautious counter puncher, failed to be dominating agaisnt Ruiz, Valuev, Skelton and Vrichis, and canvelled out of fightes against Sultan and Valuev twice. It looks like he has a serious illness of some sort.
