frantic finish by Chagaev but not KO. Meegan makes it to the bell. This should go down as a UD for Chagaev. But not impressed at all with Chagaev. Meehan, was tough but limited, should have been blasted out of there.

I don't know if Chagaev is rusty, or if he is on the downslide, but he should have taken Meehan out.

This referee is disgrace. He doesn't know who of them is Chagaev or what?

UD for chagaev, i dont understand the official score cards, but it had to be wide decision.

Chagaev is a good boxer clearly. Better than most outside the Klitschko (Haye included). Problem is, physically, he can't compete with the top. And when I say top, I include Arreola, Johnson...
Chagaev doesn't have power, he's rather slow and he's small at this weight. You can afford to miss one of those attributes, maybe two, but when you miss all three, it doesn't spell good for you when fighting for titles, unless it's against some type of bum (Valuev).

Haye is nowhere near as a boxer. But he'll beat Chagaev on physical attributes alone.

I also dont think chagaev has anything for david haye. Chagaev looks tentative and only throws the one punch with conviction. Will be easy to defend. Meehan can retire now officially, he was in good shape but displayed no world level skills.

117-111 and 117-112, didn't catch the third one.

EDIT: bodhi says it was 118-110.

It's always tough to call when you have an old fighter who's been out of the ring for a while. It's impossible to tell how much they have declined until they step into the ring.

Thanks. I said I'd pay Moore his props. He was a real warrior who'll be missed. :good
