The reporter asked Chagaev if he thinks he is ready for Haye - now?

    Chagaev just said: absolutly.

That is a very realistic possibility too for Haye's next fight.

Chagaev sucks! He always has and he always will I've always said that. And if he does fight haye he will get sliced up and bloody and then he will fall in round 3.

I hope it happens. Haye should be able to beat him now but he would be dangerous.

He doesn't have the tools anymore. It was Chagaev not attacking that let him hang around. After like the 8th round Meehan didn't even have the energy to throw the jab hardly anymore. Chagaev embarrassed himself with his lack of a killer instinct. He needs to get a new corner again, they obviously don't have any idea how to tell their fighter how to win. Step in, Guard high, dig to the body. This should have been over way earlier.

i was a big fan of ruslan before all his illness/injury problems. now he looks a shell of his former self.

haye would **** him up badly. he looks so slow and ponderous.

Not a fan of Haye, but Haye should offer to fight him asap. He'll own him.

thanx for the play-by-play for those of us out of the loop. ESB is like what the radio used to be.

A good fight? That fight was ****. Chagaev embarrassed himself. He fought scared against a guy who had nothing. He needs someone like Steward in his corner yelling at him to not be such a *****.

Yes, it was much better than Briggs v Alexander for instance. Both fighters were a bit rusty but gave it all in the end of the day. It is good that Chagaev is on the line again. He was cheated by King and lost his title outside of the ring.

I think you're getting ahead of yourself, here. Briggs VS Alexander was a freakin' ring classic! Foreman/Lyle, Ali/Frazier II & III, Holyfield/Bowe, Dempsey/Firpo, Briggs/Alexander...Chagaev/Meehan? Does Chagaev/Meehan really gel with those others? IIII Don't think so, Ivo. :-(
