I'd like to see Chagaev fight the winner of Wlad vs Ibragimov. I beleive Chagaev might take this fight, but the money would have to be right for him. I'm hoping the $$$ for a heavyweight unification fight could offer Chagaev five times what he is making on the Skelton fight. If the money is right, Chagaev just might roll the dice.
I think Chagaev will win a hard-earned decision. Skelton will do a lot of holding and pushing like he did against Sprott, so Ruslan will be tired by the later rounds. He may be seriously cut from a sneaky head butt from Skelton. Ruslan may have some ring rust after nine months of inactivity, he may not be as sharp as in the past. I'm hoping for a KO win for Ruslan, but the fact is Skelton has never been down or seriously hurt in a fight. He'll likely find a way to survive the twelve rounds.
skelton to be penalised 3 or 4 points and the ref jumping on his every infringment making it a technical fight which will suit chagaev and chagaev winning by ko around 8 when skelton is being picked off . if the ref does allow skelton in close with his rough house mauling style he will cause chagaev a lot of problems on how to keep him off. but after watching 19 years of german boxing i know the ref will be under instructions before the 2 fighters have touched gloves.
Chageav seems pretty two-handed and he is also mobile. I keep thinking - that's Skelton's worst nightmare. Referee steps in to rescue Skelton around 10.
