Chagaev is good, I like Chagaev. The Klitschkos are a step above though, both of them. Vitali by late stoppage
nah i dont think vitali will be anything special next year. im convinced he will have started a bad decline.
he's been a good fighter for years you fool. do your homework then comeback. he had a bad showing vs wlad, but that is probably the best wlad performance of his career.
Come on luf. Vitali fought 2 fighters with movement in this era were Gomez and Johnson. And guess what? Vitali easily beat them like nothing. Chagaev won't be any different. And the way Wlad completely destroyed Chagaev, Chagaev will never be the same again.
If you believe this, you REALLY don't know **** about boxing. You picked the wrong guy to tag if you tryin to test my knowledge and skills. Chagaev's extremelly predicatable approach when he allegedly "won" against Valuev showed that Chagaev still fights as if he's in the amateurs. He put his hands up in a high guard, used very little movement, and spent the majority of the fight on the outside, getting repeatedly tagged by Valuev's jab, until he would occasionaly lunge foward and typically miss with his straight left hand. He missed because he was so predicatable that Valuev easily dodged the majority of his punches, as Chagaev never managed to land anything significant. Occasionaly of course, Chagaev would manage to throw some arm punches to Valuev's mid region, but he would typical absorb a punch to do so. In fact, in that fight the only persons' head I saw getting snapped back was Chagaev. To be honest, I'm not even necessarily sure he won that fight. It was similiar to the Devon Alexander vs Kotelnik fight in the sense that Valuev was throwing a lot punches that were hitting Chagaev's gloves, while occasionaly getting through, and Chagaev was landing the more telling blows, except in this case, Chagaev rarely ever responded with anything that hit the mark, and definitely not telling for damn sure, and Valuev got through his guard more than Chagaev should have been comfortable with. On the other hand, Haye used a lot more movement and skills to almost completely shut down Valuev's offense and even make him tenative. While Haye didn't throw many punches, when he did they were hard punches that would hurt most ordinary fighters with ordinary heads. In addition, you could probably count the number of times Valuev landed on Haye on one hand. If you think Chagaev did better, then you don't know **** about boxing. Chagaev fights like an amateur and there is nothing outstanding or dynamic about him. His speed, power, etc....average. See for yourself. Haye beat Valuev in a boring way by running around the ring pop shotting while Chagaev wasn't afraid to get hit in which he outbox Valuev in a very good fashion. If you think Haye beat Valuev was better then Chagaev did then i rest my case about you being ******ed.
Did Chagaev even win that fight though? I mean, if anyone was landing the harder punches, it wasn't him. Not to mention the fact that Valuev was pretty consistantly hitting him with that jab and controlling him with volume. What Chagaev really do? He occasionaly lunged foward with a weak left hand, and typically missed. When he did land, he didn't do ****. Haye's punches had lethal intention, and he almost knocked the man out. And his accuracy was great. Again, you could count the punches Valuev landed on one hand.
Chagaev KO4. Vitali is a bum, or vice versa.:bbbThe HW division is pathetic, deplorable, pitiful, sorry, woeful, inadequate, etc...
You actually thought Valuev beat Chagaev? Chagaev clearly and i mean CLEARLY outbox Valuev to a decision. He didn't run around the ring like Haye did.
****, I'm only slightly inclined to say Chagaev edged the fight, but I wouldn't be mad with a draw. You do realize that they were scheduled to fight again partially because the fight was so close. It had nothin to do with outboxin him. He just managed to outhustle him in the late rounds.
