Chagaev wins relatively easy

Chagaev was disapointing in that he didn't use his technical skills and faster hands to his advantage. He didn't use the jab very well, and thus Skelton just jumped on his ass and made it ugly

He pretty much won the fight with one hand

    Wlad would destroy him

No your right it wasn't impressive by any means, and he did fight out of his comfort zone a bit. I'm just sayin' that Skelton never showed any kind of threat and Ruslan fought Skeltons fight and beat him in close in a very yawning peformance. You don't have to agree, If you think that was a challenge for Ruslan thats your right.

i didn't know skelton was that bad. he simply cannot box. slow, brawling arm-puncher. he didn't throw one proper shot. he also dragged down chagaev's performance who is actually better than this fight but can't crack an egg at world level. compare that fight to holyfield-bowe I, you wouldn't know it was the same sport.

    Fair enough

I agree he never looked like losing. I just don't think he looked entirely comfortable either, as you wouldn't with a 250lb bear leaning on you

It was a bit disapointing considering how **** Skelton is

Chagaev is a southpaw. The first Southpaw Champ since Moorer. I do believe but he's only 6' 1" and guys on here will tell you no way does a 6' 1" guy can compete against todays giants.:p

 Lets just hope he can get himself KO'd by Klitschko by the end of the year so we will have two thirds unifcation. In the meantime lets hope the WBC sort out the mess they've created so by early 2009 we can finally have an undisputed heavyweight champion.

How has Sam proved this? The "White Tyson" moniker is bad as Chagaev is a bit more multi-facted and not as explosive. Back to your Peter comment though, who the hell has Peter KO'd to make you think that? In Virchis, Valuev and Skelton he fought three fighters who have never been KD'd, and Ruiz was only stopped by Tua early in their fight.

I saw that, and stop going back to it. In the heavyweight division anyone can get KO'd, and that was in kick-boxing not boxing so it doesn't necessarily apply.

There Is a difference between K-1 and Boxing.

Danny landed some bombs on Skelton and couldn't Ko him, his chins fine.

I do agree Wlad would stop him still.
