Chagaev wouldn't be in the top ten of Lewis' all time wins list. He's #1 on Wlad's

I disagree. Only the following fighters are better in this list: Bruno, Mercer (won against Lewis IMO by the way), Golota, Holyfield, Tyson, Vitaly. 2000 Tua, 2001 Rahman, 2000 Grant would have been defeated by 2009 Chagaev for sure.

It was a great performance by Wlad. What do you want from the guy? He's fighting the other champions and the best challengers out there. No one is debating who has faced the better fighters, no question Lewis has. However, just because Lewis has better names on his resume doesn't make him THAT much better than Wlad. Wlad's era doesn't have as many big names that Lewis' had. (Holyfield,Tyson, Golota, Morrison, etc.)

I, like many others, think that Lewis was better. However, Lewis is retired and Vlad still around. I don't think is his fault the available opponents suck!

Currently Holyfield, Vitali, Mercer, Ruddock & maybe Tua are better wins than Chagaev. Old Tyson, Golota, Akinwande, Bruno are debatable. Chagaev's peformance was disappointing but he can still have some success via the wba route.

    A hater has spoken:D Well done,hater!

By the way Chagaev twice beat the great SAvon.
Hollyfield beat Valuev,eh! Neither he nor Valuev deserved the victory for the outstandingly lame fight.

And to maintain that Tua is better than Chagaev really carries off the prize.
Tua looked like **** against fighters like Hawkins. At least Chagaev tends to knck this kind of opponents out within the first 5-6 rounds.

Or he could have pulled down his trunks, turned around and said "Here WLaddy!"

Seriously the guy kept moving to Wlad's right, directly into his straight right power shot. But that jab will do that to you when you're that small. He just had no chance. The result was expected weeks ago.

Lennox Lewis would not be top ten on Ali's list. What is your point? You can only fight the guys that are around for you to fight.

Chagaev fought a horrible fight, just a terrible game plan from the get go. Wlad pretty much had a slow moving heavybag to hit tonite, if Chagaev is the 3rd best Heavy in the world, then the division might be the worst decade of the last 50 years.

I agree that Chagaev is not as good as many of Lewis' opponents, but I don't think Chagaev is Wlad's best victory either.

It's not Wladimir's problem current heavyweights aren't impressive enough for you. He's doing his job and that's all that matters.

I still rate Byrd as his best win, although he was highly impressive tonight.

Byrd somehow gets overlooked in the shuffle. Those are two very good wins. Peter, Brewster, and arguably Sultan and Brock are better as well.

Did they have hepatitis and a list of most recent career achievements like beating Drummond and Skelton by decision in their previous fights over 2 years?
This was boring and uninspiring from Wlad,
