Chagaev's former sparring partner, undefeated heavyweight Apti Davtaev signs with Salita Promotions.

"The heavyweights are once again infused with lots of talent, and Aptis' punching power and size will make him a real threat to the best in the division," said Salita. "I am very happy to team up with and work together with KA promotions and Kazbek Aslambekov in progressing Apti to the heavyweight world title."

Davtaev is a decent heavyweight. He has tremendous power by the looks of it but lacks technique big time. If he is moved right he can get some big fight and hope for lucky KO win. And I hope he has a chin because his defence is leaky. But he is exciting to watch due to his power, so expect highlight reel KO's from him.
