This fight proved that size doesn't matter. If he can keep this up, he will certainly remain a force in this division and be a serious threat to the crown.

YEs it did and it also proved that a fighter should fight at his natural weight and forget about size, just get in there and fight your fight at your best....Guys make me laugh when they say JJwalcot was too small.....Look at the fat ones, Peter, Briggs, Rahman...they cant breathe after 5 rds...

Probably a bit like Tommy Loughran roughing up Ray Impelitiere.

Your one sided bias and harping on the present... I can just taste the bitterness.

It proved that smaller heavyweights are better off coming in slim and maximising their advantages in terms of speed.

Billy Conn didnt lift weights in the hpes that he could make himself bigger than Joe Louis.

Oh boy, so much weight behind that one. Nut uh you not me!

No, I hold equal reverence for most if not all generations of boxing, there's positives and negatives to each and simply one. Your slant however is ridiculous and biased, anything regarding the present is laced with nothing but derogatory one sided bull****.

    You're old enough, grow up.

You dont know anything about my post if you say that. I am a big fan of todays heavys and I like the conditioning of the Klitschko', I also was a fan of Lewis. I dont like when fighters because they are Heavyweight and have no weight limit and make it an excuse to get fat, like Kirk Johnson and Chris Areola and Sam Peter....and I seen your photo, what are you 17...where did you gather all this knowlege and arogance in such a short time.

    Who are you 17?

    English, please.

I'm 21, if you're really going to cling onto that flimsy point as if it proves anything.

Where did you gain your arrogance and one sided views in such a long time?

What? Did you mis-read that? Anyway, stop the silly bickering you two. There's nothing wrong with having a belief (Based on tons proof) that gets re-affirmed. I'm new here, so I haven't seen everything from everyone around here but it seems to me that Bummy just prefers fighters to peak their fitness, and that size isn't crucial. If Chambers being 209 on winning validates that opinion then it's obvious that he likes the current fight game and some current heavyweights. Obviously he has a strong belief on the past (fighters) which helps preserves this notion. But just because he thinks highly of the past heavies doesn't mean that he's anti the present. He says he praises the Klitchko's and Lewis so he likes the fit big fighters of now but just believes that the preoccuputation of size is silly and not neccessarily superior, which is true.

Chambers' performance does prove that today's habit of putting on extra weight to make yourself "bigger" and "stronger" might not be as smart as it's made out to be.

I heard many people say that him coming in at 209 would actually be a mistake and that he would be man-handled by the 6'7, near 260 lb Dimitrenko, but it turned out to be the exact opposite. Chambers was quicker, more durable and better conditioned.

He won't beat the Klitschko brothers though, not with his style.

Why can't chambers beat a 38 year old slow as molasses Vitali? I think he can. Go Fast Eddie!

Haha, I don't think so either but I love your spirit lol. Stylistic problems, but who knows how past it Vitali is or would be coming in...

I watched the highlist and Ediie was fast, slick, acurate and puching hard with late stamina...It was his lowest weight or should I say his finest condition....He will be hard to beat...If he fights povetkin again in this condition it could be a different fight and this guy has a chance to outspeed and outpoint Vitali if anyone does. His speed and condition was the best I have seen from him and if he mantains it who knows
