It doesn't matter that he wasn't hit hard for the knockout. The reason he was stopped it because he was getting battered, had been knocked down, his legs had gone and he was taking way too many punches. The referee should have jumped in right before he threw the left hook anyway. Neither Briggs or his corner complained about the result because the referee was just protecting him. The fact there was no final blow is besides the point.

He's grasping at straws. Lewis beat a prime, in shape and focussed Briggs and beat him badly by KO'ing him.

VITLAY struggled with a 40 year old, fat, out of shape Briggs that was only there for the payday. Sure he won the rounds but he couldn't get the guy out of there, bang goes the bull**** about VITLAY hitting like a mule, because he plainly ****ing doesn't :yep

No, he wasn't. Against Lewis, he was out on his feet. He wasn't against Vitali at any point in their fight.

He was taking punishment, yes, but he was never severely hurt. A stoppage against Lewis was inevitable but Vitali didn't do enough.

The Vitali/Briggs fight is similar to Holmes/Cobb. One sided, brutal but there is no point where the referee should jump in. Briggs and Cobb were taking the punches fine and not close to going down.

Yeah of course he did....yet he was at no point hurt badly enough for the fight to be stopped.

How long did VITLAY spend in the hospital having his face stitched back together after he got hammered by Lewis?

I suspect you think it was around 10 minutes but it was more like 2-3 days, and that's in a fight where according to you and ****tards like you, he won :nut:nut
