I see what you're saying, maybe you're right. If theres one thing I would've told him would be to use his right to parry Wlad's jab to the left, and sidestep to his own right and throw a right. Otherwise, nothing they could say would've helped. As for the telling him to use head movement, you could hear them yell "move your head" every round. Even the British commentators mentioned it.

Totally agree, Nothing would have changed the outcome but like i say, if you're taking a pounding from the champ and dont have any physical advantages then thats where you need a strong and knowledgable corner, to help you through, telling you what mistakes you need to work on, adjustments to make etc instead of shouting out shite that any twat could do.

I honestly cant remember them telling him to move his head mate, but you know what i mean by giving basic advice which they didnt.

I got better corner work sparring when i was 14 yrs old.

The worst thing is, Chambers is not a bum like a lot of idiots are making out, he does have skill but 90% of top class fighters have top class teams in there corner.

Truth. He has some serious skills, but he's just too small and doesn't have Mike's mad strength to hold up against much bigger men.

In the shape he was in at only 209lbs he could easily make cruiserweight and do some damage there.

That corner should've stopped the fight as well. Why they aren't taking heat over that is a mystery as well. They knew they were fighting in a foreign land and hopelessly down on the cards. And Wlad was still firing in there.

The worst ko's are those take a beating and get brutally ko'd late endings. It's so tough to rebound from that. The heavyweights sure don't recover very well from that kind of ending and it can put a good fighter into journeyman status. Why take the chance on that kind of outcome in a fight you are not going to win? Throw in the towel and re-group and try coming back in a year or two. Now you have a massive rebuilding project and it just did not have to be that way.
