I think the middle judge was the only guy that didn't notice the hot girl on the first row :yep

In all honesty, from what I read in the RBR last night the 120-107 judge wasn't far off because Eddie seemed to dominate troughout the night. It's the 115-112 judge that was probably sleeping.

What's next for Rossy now. Obviously he is simply a gatekeeper, but which young up n comer should challenge him to move into the top 10?

My opinion is Helenius. This would be a good fight for both, as RH has good power, but hasn't had his chin checked yet, and Rossy does have some good power.

I like Helenius in this fight, since Rossy is no can, and if Helenius beats him, stops him, he could then try to line up a fight with Chambers, Boystov, Potvetkin, etc, to vie for Vitali's strap when he retires.

Helenius is already on the level of those guys, just based on the skill I've seen in his fights. He should be looking for other Regional or National Champions, like Boystov, Chisora, Dimitrenko, Tua or Arreola

Rossy is a level below and should be working towards a USBA/ NABF/NABA heavyweight title level. Maybe take on Johnathan Bank, Maurice Harris or Cedrick Boswell, and get a regional strap and build experience/confidence in the meantime.

Chambers is a level above, along with Adamek. Intercontinental level, ie: better than Regional Champion, but not World level.

The best move for Chambers is to take on Helenius later this year in preparation for Wlad.

Meanwhile, the WBA circle jerk could force Haye/Povetkin. Personally, I could see Povetkin beating Haye, or if Haye retires instead... Chambers challenges the WBA Champ in 2012 and possibly become unified.

I just can't believe Chambers is going after Wlad's belts so soon. And the funniest part is, do most of us believe Peter will win his elimination? That means Wlad will either rematch Chambers after a completely dominate 1st fight or rematch Peter for a third time when it really isn't necessary . Why couldn't the IBF get fresh blood into this tourney, even if they don't stand a better chance against Wlad anyway. And I know that a number of other candidates declined.

There doesn't seem to be any other place for Chambers to go. Clearly Chambers wants Haye but the fight hasn't materialized. Maybe if Chambers is 1# contender opportunities will open up.

Also, Wlad will fight Chisora....and then probably Adamek...and then probably either Haye, Tua or Povetkin....before he does the IBF mandatory fight. That's at least 3 fights for Wlad to get through. So it's premature to assume Wladimir will still be IBF champ a year and a half from now.

OK, so we have Chambers vs. the winner of Sam Peter/Maurice “Sugar Moe” Harris

One cool thing about the setup is that whomever wins will be the USBA champion (currently its Harris).

It will be good to have the best American fighter (unless Peter wins) actually have the US championship belt and move forward to face a world champion.

I can't imagine Peter beating Chambers. The last time they met Chambers out worked him.

Also, Chambers weighed in nearly 20 lbs less for his most recent fight than he did against Peter.

    ESPN Punch Track

    Total punches: Chambers 193 / 447 43% Peter 129 / 679 19%

    Jabs: Chambers: 144 / 331 Peter: 102 / 385
    Head: Chambers: 162 / 374 Peter: 77 / 502
    Body: Chambers: 31 / 73 Peter: 52 / 177

Samuel Peter to face Harris in IBF Eliminator

    Our Reporter 03/02/2011 00:00:00

After Tomasz Adamek signed a contract to face IBO/IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, he was dropped from a possible IBF eliminator with Samuel Peter (34-4, 27KOs). A possible name to replace Adamek, against Peter, is Maurice Harris (24-14, 10KOs).

Harris is an upset-minded fighter who faces everyone. Since his return to the sport last year after a three year layoff, Harris beat Billy Zumbrun, Robert Hawkins, Julius Long and Nagy Aguilera.

The head of the IBF's championship committee, Lindsey Tucker, told Alexander Pavlov that an offer has been sent to Harris. Tucker doesn't know if Harris plans to accept the fight. If Harris does accept, the winner of his bout with Peter will have to face the winner of the other IBF eliminator between Eddy Chambers and Derric Rossy on February 12.

Peter fought Klitschko on September 11, 2010, for the Ukrainian's IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight titles. Klitschko won again, by knocking out Peter in the 10th round.

Well, considering I think that Rossy could be used as a stepping stone for Tarver (and some other people agree) the Nordic Nightmare is certainly a step too far.

The key to beating the slow Helenius is speed, more than power. For that reason I think Chambers would have a much better chance against Helenius.

If Rossy wants a moderate paycheck (maybe about the best he can net at this point) and a TV appearance Tarver is one of his best options.

If he wants a win, he should look to the likes of Monte Barrett or the losers of Solis-Austin, Peter-Harris, and Rahman-Mormeck. He is probably evenly matched or better with all of those guys except Solis. Even Peter has slipped enough at this point to now be considered on that level.

Chazz Witherspoon wouldn't be far off from a 50-50 match-up of former hyped prospects who've been shown to not have enough dimensions to step up to top class. It would be an interesting blend of skillsets, too.

As for the Chambers-Peter rematch (assuming Peter beats Harris) that match-up hasn't changed any more in Peter's favor than the Chambers-Rossy match-up did for Rossy...in fact, quite the opposite.

Chambers racking up wins to keep himself ranked is all well and good, but when it comes to rematches I'm far more interested in seeing him avenge a loss than beat up on previous conquests.

I'm not talking about the Klitshcko loss, either (although he'll wind up getting that rematch when he clears this eliminator hurdle...and get knocked out again). He stands a very good chance of beating the version of Povetkin that's slumming around the ring these days.

    Good take.:good

Rossy would be better served fighting Tarver for a payday, but Wlad won't ever fight Tarver for the same reasons he won't fight Holyfield and the same goes for Vitali.

I think if Tarver fought Rossy then Mormeck, he could challenge early next year for the WBA strap, and probably take it from Potvetkin, Chagaev, or Haye.
