Chambers does not have the skill to beat Wlad. Let's pretend that Wlad did not have KO power...he'd still win because Chambers does not have good footwork. Chambers will not be able to get around Wlad's jab. Chambers just sort of leans back...that works okay against shorter fighters, but Wlad has big long arms and pretty quick hands himself. Oh, and Wlad DOES have KO power. Chambers is tailor-made to be knocked out by Wlad.

Unless Chambers learns how to be fleet footed in the next few months [not likely], he stands no chance.

We know that to be Wlad you have to go at him, dont be scared to throw ur shots with speed AND power. I dont think Eddie has th power to ko Klitschko and i dont rate his chances of out boxing Wlad, who is much taller and with bigger reach, and the divisions best jab. WK wins on pts, probably a very dull fight.

Chambers has the skills and talent, unfortunately he doesn't posses the size and power to defeat Wlad. I'll leave it at that.

Eddie Chambers could easily get into top shape and be a tremendous force at Cruiserweight, at 208 pounds when fighting Dimitrenko he looked like he could easily melt down to 200. Vladimir will have too much of everything for Chambers. However I expect Chambers to put up a very spirited challenge for several rounds, probably even winning a few early rounds, but eventually getting gun shy of Vlad's devastating jackhammer jabs and then getting softened up and destroyed sometime after the 7th round, probably going down in a heap similar to Calvin Brock.

Dimitrenko was as big as Wlad but doesn't have his power. I don't like Eddie giving free shots to Wlad like he did against Dimitrenko, because this time he can't smile them away:yep

I can tell you right now that there is not a man on this planet that can outbox Wladimir Klitschko. Chambers is a pretty nifty boxer but he can't do the things that Wladimir can do. It's clear that the only way to beat Wladimir is to stop him and that's not gonna happen either. Most opponents can't even get a clean shot on him.

Chambers would be KO'ed in the championship rounds I think. Might nick a couple of rounds if he runs but he's too short, low power to worry Wlad.

Eddie has fast hands, but his body can not follow. Dimitrenko's and Peter's punches bounced off but Wlad's punches, oh boy he would feel them in every bone of his body:dead

no current heavy (and very few all-time) has the skills to outbox Wlad Klitschko... only way to beat him is via KO.. and with his superb defense, it is actually hard to do... a puncher's chance is the way to beat him imho.

He seems much more powerful than the 2003 version.
I think he has a decent chin, too.
He's Primo Carnera reborn--except that he has big-time power and style.

povetkin and chambers are the most worthy wlad opponent in terms of who they have beaten, but klitschko's style is all wrong for chambers. he is a good fighter but he can't beat wladimir

if povetkin can move forward without taking a punch i'd give him a better chance in theory, but in practice i can see the fight panning out the same way as the chagaev fight. wladimir is just too good at what he does, and no one can manage to force him out of his comfort zone at the moment

You dont need much power to knock out the glass chinned Wlad. So any fighter who gets in the ring and tries has a chance to knock Wlad out.

I am having a lot of trouble making sense of that post.

Obviously you do not feel that Chambers has enough skill to beat Wlad on points (even though you say that you do), if you feel that the only way he can beat Wlad is by knocking him out right?:huh

Then you also say that Chambers will take Wlad the distance if they fight. So... then wouldn't you think that Chambers will win that decision... since you think that he has the skill to outpoint him?:think

    Wlad had no glass chin.

Every fighter can be knocked out!

Chambers is a skilled boxer but not skilled enough to deal with Wlad.

Wlad is a superior technican boxer and heavy puncher. He will win by KO.
