Chambers is NOT GOOD. Povetkin BAD. This is how to beat KLITSCHKO as a smaller man.

This is actually quite a sensible post.

I think it's obvious that a smaller fighter has to have speed and power in his punches, where Chambers just had speed, and Chagaev had neither.

I think Wlad punches faster and harder than Carnera, but otherwise they are similar. Both had great physiques but weak chins, and plodded around behind a straight left.

No use comparing modern fighters to Joe Louis though. We will never see anyone that good again.

Primo Carnera is really not as bad as people make him out to be. Just looking at his record, it's quite a record, despite 70% of the opposition having rather bad records, while probably another 10% having a good record consisting of easy fights. Still, 100 fights won with only 10 or so lost(we can easily exclude 5 losses near the don of his career), that's a very very good record, especially considering those times, where... to put it simply, all top boxers had multiple losses on their records.

I think we can all agree that Wlad's style is somewhat reminiscent of a Primo Carnera. BUT, look at Primo's jab and compare it to Wlad's. The difference is really big, in speed, accuracy and especially in power. Louis really didn't pay much respect to Primo's jab.
He didn't have to, that jab didn't have enough bite to really threaten him and it rarely was doubled up, let alone accompanied by a different punch.

Wlad's jab is like a hammer. It's one that opponents so far has had to respect, appart from Corrie Sanders, but even Corrie Sanders keeps his guard high. We could go on with the comparrisons, but, it would just be a repeat of what others have said. Primo shares a similar style and he uses the jab, but he's not as talented. Plus, what good would ever be to bring a PRIME Joe Louis fight up. It's not like we had or we will have another heavyweight as good as a Joe Louis in this century.

I don't doubt a second you got banned numerous times before. Not hard to see why. Hope you get banned again soon for these unnecessary insults, you won't be missed.

Arguments like that don't hold up. You could flip that and say if a poorly trained Sanders...Louis would...
