Seems to really know what the fighter must do:

"Now he must prove that he’s matured and become more stable!“

From those picks on the front page, Eddie jsut looks ready to go. But it seems like Sscah's camp knows that they have something to prove and took this fight for a reason.

I am picking Alex, but this should be a great fight.

We shall see. I remember when Dimitrenko used to spar like a mad person at Universum. He has guts and can be scrappy. He has improved a lot. It's a shame that USTV is boycotting this fight.

It seems that US lost interest in heavyweights since their representatives were not doing well.

I hope the same will not happen to the UK after Haye gets KOed.

Our fighters get knocked out all the time. We don't boycott tv because of it.

That's good because we need strong boxing in the UK. Your fighters are very important for boxing. We need variety. It is essential for the competition.

As an American I can say no one here is "boycotting" any heavyweight fights, from Europe or anywhere else. We're just desperate for an good, exciting Heavyweight to come along. I'm dissapointed that I won't see Dimentrenko fight Chambers. Right now, most Heavyweights are either fat, old, lazy, boring, or just don't have world class skills.
I've never seen Dimentrenko, but he looks in condition anyway, and I hear he's aggresive , and likes to mix it up. For his part Chambers at least will fight anyone, has some skills, and shows up to box. He could be in a little better shape, but it's a bummer I won't see him fight Dimentrenko. I wish the best for the big guy, because boxing without an exciting heavyweight scene is like a day without sunshine.

Judging by the latest pictures, Chambers looks to be in much better shape than in the Peter fight. He will need it though. Dimitrenko´s size and reach is a huge factor in this one. I doubt that the better boxing skills of Chambers will beat this disadvantage.

You should watch Chambers training videos with Buddy McGirt, Chambers is VERY skilled.

    ah...didnt see this thread.

yeah i think chambers is WAY WAY too skilled for Dimitrenko (at least from what ive seen of dimitrenko).

chambers has been in with big punchers and big guys before, didnt phase him at all.

his only "loss" was when he kinda went ******ed against povetkin. and im not sure that would be the same in a rematch.

    chambers by WIDE ud.

I don't think Chambers is very skilled at all. His hands are quick, but his feet are slow, and he only throws the one-two. He does have a sort of talent for bending back as a defensive measure, but against someone really tall, that won't matter.

I have never seen Dimetrenko fight, but if he has a modicum of skill, I think he will win. This fight being in Germany does not help Chambers much either. Chambers likes to keep fights close (read* he's lazy) and when the German judges read the cards, you can bet that the big European dude will get the benefit of the doubt.

If Chambers comes in really good shape, i'll probably take him on pts. Dimitrenko is big, athletic and busy but has very poor defense, doesn't fight tall, and seems like he doesn't take the best punch. He hasn't faced someone as skilled as Chambers either.

It wouldn't shock me if Chambers stops him if he's on his game but it's likely it's a close pts decision either way. Chambers better be sub-210 though or he is probably going to get outpointed.

Chambers has a good arsenal. His jab, right hand and left hook to the body are good. His major problem relates to punch output. He just isn't busy enough and it made the Brock and Peter fights a lot closer than they should have been

He moved better than I thought he could against Peter at such a high weight.

I lean slightly towards Chambers by decision. He´s fought the better competition and did pretty well against Povetkin.
