Chambers says he might move to cruiser in the future

Hmm,I find it hard to believe he just put on 20 lbs when he went to heavy.

Im sure he weighed more than 198/199 naturally wehn he was fighting at cruiser.

 

Believe what you want, thats what he said on more than one occasion though.

 

People say different things for different reasons.

Like I said, it doesnt make a lot of sense.

 

Both Haye and Chambers would have to cut MUSCLE to make CW. Haye at CW would look similar to Byrd at LHW. Sickly, gaunt, powerless.

I havent seen Eddie weighing 200 then 225 then 200 again. I'd imagine he could do it with little trouble or loss.

Adamek however, NEEDS to fight at CW. He has less power than Chambers, less speed than either, and a weaker chin than either at HW.

At least I'd favor Haye or guys like Potvetkin and Pulev. I couldn't see Adamek going 5 with either.:think

He bases his style on speed and timing, predictability. Much like Chris Byrd could overwhelm his opponents with speed and timing, and predict their slow shots.

Look what going down did to Chris, he could no longer predict incoming shots, the same might happen to Eddie.

 

I think that he trimmed down in his last couple fights to prepare for the move. He'll also be able to fight in either division without much difficulty as a result.

 

Haye made a career out of fighting at cruiser.

The guy only weighed 210 against Wlad.
You telling me losing 10lbs of water weight and rehydrating back up would make him look gaunt and sickly?

He weighs the exact same on fightnight now as he did in his cruiser days.

 

Haye looks his best when he's weighing about 220-225. He cuts weight during training to increase speed. I think it's fair to say that Haye would be best served to slow it donw a bit and come to fight about 230-235.:think

 

It's about time he came around to the idea.

Wasn't he insisting all along right up until a month or two ago that he would never do this, and that he was invested lock stock and barrel into chasing the money at heavyweight? :huh

The only place Chambers is taking Adamek is to school.

Among the weight climbing cruisers:

Chambers > Adamek > Haye > Mormeck > Huck

 

How do you see Eddie winning that fight? I think Tomasz could win a boxing match and beat Chambers at his own game but even if Eddie did manage to get the better of it Tomasz could turn to his pressure/swarming style and outwork him like his LHW days since Chambers doesn't have a punch to bother him. He beats Chambers in either style imo, he's versatile.
