Personally, I've been wishing that fight could get made and thinking it was built to go to a close, controversial decision. :conf

I think Chambers will look fat at Cruiser too, He is a Light heavy or even a super middleweight.

In over a decade as a pro, his lowest weight has been about 208 pounds...I did not think he looked fat, there. :huh

If he goes down I hope he comes back to heavy again. Not a good chance against the Klits (bigger chance against Vitali than Wlad though) but he could take over the division afterwards with some luck.

I don't see Tomasz being able to swarm in past that jab. Eddie doesn't need a big power punch to keep him out, just the jab. He has a much more finely tuned one than Cunningham - who clearly lost to Adamek but made it very competitive - and IMO Fast Eddie is just a much better boxer all-around than USS. I've seen some people pick Steve in mythical h2h matchups if Eddie were to move down (or have never been "up" top begin with) and that perplexes me. Anyway, Cunningham had some real success with the jab, but suffered from the accumulating effect of Adamek's fairly heavy hands (at LHW and CW). Someone with an excellent jab and a very solid chin is poison for Adamek. I could even cite Vitali - who by no means hangs his hat on the jab - as having really done a number on Adamek with it.

For similar reasons I think Kevin Johnson is a bad stylistic look for Adamek, although obviously Goral is the far better overall fighter than Kingpin and more likely to succeed against a greater number of styles himself.

He'd look not dissimilar to Chris Byrd at cruiser in terms of physique - with the exception that Chris had started to sprout a little old-man flab by the time he campaigned there.

    No.

In his fight against Wlad he weighed around 210lb and he looked good. At CW he would look a little more defined if anything.

I think Chambers becomes the top guy at cruiserweight if he goes there and there are some interesting match ups there. I guess I see being a top heavyweight as a more attractive and lucrative scenario compared to being the top cruiserweight. I see heavyweights as the major leagues while cruiseweight is still viewed as the minors.

If Chambers was having troubles at heavy than I would like a move to cruiserweight more. But at heavyweight he has had some good success. He's rated top 5 or top 10 at worst by everyone, he's already beaten a number of higher rated guys, and he's fought for a title once and was in another eliminator before pulling out. He's had a good successful career at heavyweight and there is still a lot of good fights out there for him.

No, Adamek never said that. He walked around at 200 and never had to cut any weight.

He had trouble making 175 by the time he got into his early 30s and was weight-drained for the Dawson fight.

But Adamek moved up to HW because he couldn't get a decent payday at cruiserweight, where he had no problem making the 200 limit.

6'1" Chambers and 6'1" Adamek are natural cruiserweights.

6'3" Haye with his 78" reach is bigger & thicker and a natural heavyweight.

Nonsense, Haye wouldn't have lasted 3 rounds vrs. Wlad if he were 225+ (and I've seen him that heavy pre-camp). He'd be too slow. Even Ruiz was able to get to Haye when he was 220+ and that was a wake-up call for the Haye team. They realized they were best-off when Haye is thin and fast enough to slip punches.

Haye could fight at cruiser but he'd have to stress and sweat to make the weight and he already won the belt there. If the right fight came up it would be possible but no need if his ideal weight is actually 210-215 and there are good opponents (like Adamek and Chambers) at the same weight.

Chambers is a different animal. At 208 he's still a bit pudgy (nothing like how ripped and thin Haye is at 211). Yeah Chambers would have to sacrifice a bit of muscle mass to make cruiser but it wouldn't be a problem. Chambers would not need to sweat or anything.

I agree with others that Adamek should be fighting at cruiser now but he's consumed all these supplements and he's happy being 220 it's too much stress for too little reward for him to return to cruiser. It's a shame because he's a much more exciting fighter as a cruiser.

A jab from Chambers who is shorter with equal reach isn't going to shut Adamek down. He isn't getting stuck behind Eddie's jab, he may get hit with it, but he isn't getting shut down as if it were Volodymyr. That's pretty ridiculous imo. Like i said though i don't see him winning a jabbing constest or a boxing contest but if worst came to worse Adamek could simply outwork him with his combinations.

Ill repeat,Haye weighed 210 against Wlad and Harrison.

Please explain how hes bigger than Adamek and Chambers?

Earlier in his career Haye campaigned at the old cruiser limit of 190.

Chambers would be the best cruiserweihgt bar none, if he stayed at the weight he'd have a chance to be one of the GOATS at cruiser, he's got excellent skills and he does have pop in his punches just not enough to put away the big guys, he hurt Dimitrenko though and I'm sure he'd have good pop at Cruiser to go with his speed, defense, counterpunching.
